After a few days to get used to the time change (7 Hrs.) we went with our great friend Tory Grady down to the coast and spent a few days with her and her neat Daughter playing in the waves (well sometimes just playing). Tory had to get back before us, but we had a few days and I bought a buggie board for Jessica, so that she could surf.

After our return to home base, we went off to Huntsville to see some of the family, that we had not had the opportunity to see in quite a while. I just wanna tell you folks, we really have a big family, when everyone gets togeather. I would like to thank my Aunt Joyce for making this possible and for seeing that everone had a great time.

After our horsing around, we finally got back to some serious work / play at home base. I painted for 4-5 Days. while Jessica and Jennifer took care of some kittens and played mom to various stray animals. Sylvia had a pretty good time working / shoping in all the stores too, I might add.

Anyhow, we flew back to Germany on the 2nd of August and have been taking another few days off, before work and school start back. Jennifer is currently with our church on an outing (they are camping). This would generally be o.k., except that it has been raining like crazy for the last two days, so that the kids are kinda washing away.

Jessica and I went to see the most recent Harry Potter Flic last night and had a great time. She dressed up in her new green dress (which by the way makes me kinda nervious) and was showing off for her girlfriend. At least I hope it was only for her girlfriend.

Anyhow, we were really glad to get to see alot of you folks during our trip. I hope that we get to spend some time on the next trip with our relatives and friends up the east coast.
