The first days ....

We have arrived. And what's the first thing the kids want to do, lawn mower racing....

- Jessica's Finals -

And she's Off - Jessica has entered the lawn mower racing finals.

And Here is the competition

The Following is a little film of Jessica and Jennifer on the Kubota (Jessica is Driving):)

After the Racing, the fans had a big party to celebrate the race.

Here is a picture of Jeff and Bridget, Wow Jeff looks like his bet didn't come in. Better luck next time, or just bet on Jessie, she always wins with the lawn mowers.

We had a great time, and we want to thank all you folks for comming to the party that Alyce and Don gave for us. Here is a pic of Jeff's cute girls.

Robert and EZ help out with the food and all, as you can tell from this picture.

Jessica went fishing with friends and they caught a whopper (weeellll, maybe just a little fish). Anyhow, Jessica thought it was great. Bye the way, its me sitting with those two good look women friends (that would be Karen and Paula) for a cigarette break.

Karen and Paula, our friends from college at Auburn came bye and joined in the fun.

The kids had a really great time at the party, and I think Jessica has an admirer :)

- II - The Kittens and Mommy Jenni

Alyce was able to really make Jennifer and Jessia's day, when she arranged for some Kittens to stay with us.

Jennifer was the Kitten Mommy after this, and her goes the Kitten Show...

Jennifer had alot of fun, but the kittens hat some other ideas about what to do on a hot day, so she had to chase them around the house.

Jennifer did have some help though, as Jessica and Robert became her assitants in cat maintenance.

The little guys were really cute and cuddely. My personal favorite was Kati. Featured here in black fur.

- III - The trip to Florida

Thanks to our great friends Jim, Tory and Anne, we were able to spend a few days on the Gulf of Mexico.

Here is a piture of us beside a late model Ford Crown Victoria. Sylvia and I owned a similar car, when we married and just started off college. Wow, its amazing that the car is still around after soooo many years.

Any here is me with Tory, a really great friend and a great mom. She and her little girl Kendall went on the trip too, and we all had a blast.

On the first day we went to eat on the bay. Here are all of us (well Sylvia's taking the picture). The cute little one is the one and only Kendall.

And what do you do in Florida, the pool. The girls had a great time playing, swimming and just generally horsing around.

Here is a cute picture of our little fish Jennifer :)

Oh No, Its a beached whale!

Here is Jenni chillin bye the pool.

Wow, now what kinda face is this. I think Jenni got pushed in or something.

Jenni and Kendall having fun.

And here is Jessie, chillin bye the pool too.

Here are the girls, sharing a hug with Kendall and horsing around.

And here is Jenni and Kendall sharing a hug as we get ready to go out on the third eavning.

And here we are at the marine in Perdio Key. We are waiting for our table and having a few drinks.

Here is a picture of Kendall diving into the pool. Hope you like this one Tori.

And after a long day, we watched these really beautiful sunsets.

Here is a cute picture of Tori and Kendall at the pool. In the Backgroud is a great view of the bay and Ono Island.

And so we all said good bye to the coast after a really great week and headed back to Wedowee and the Family Reunion.

But before we went off to the reunion. We stopped to see Jim and Anne, who had been great in letting us use their place for such a terriffic vacation. Thanks again to you both for making our trip something really special.

Here is Jim with me out to dinner the eavning of our reaturn.

And here is Sylvia with Anne (Jim's charming and beautiful wife).

- 14 Year Old actually working -

Before we go off to the family reuntion, I would like to take the time to show you the proof, that god truly works in mysterious ways.

Jessica, yes our 14 year old daughter, decided that she would like to learn a bit about sewing. As this seemed like work, I could hardly belive this, however the following pictures are really the proof.

Jessica Sewing as Jennifer helps (or looks on, or something)

Here is the full length version of the dress that Jessica made for herself, of course with the assistance of her Aunt Alyce. Wow

Just to hold this almost unbelievable feat a moment longer, here is a picture of Jessica in close up.

No Worries though, she will never have the opporunity to leave the house in this attire, as I now have plans to lock her in the basement for the next 15 years or so:)

- The Family Reunion

So after Jessica was able to work some in the interest of fashon, we all drove up to Huntsville to a really great reunion. This was organized and celebrated at the home of My Aunt Joyce, who shown bellow is a really neat person. We all can't thank her enough for taking the time and effort to put all this togeather for us.

Joyce shown checking things out just prior to the start of the festivities:

And here is Joyce shown with the littlest and newest member of our family. They look sooooo cute:)

And here is Joyce with Jessica. The have something in common, they both realy like math.

And the guest started arriving, they were greeted her bye Uncle Howard (affecionatly called Bones by his syblings).

Here is a picture of Jessica and Jennifer playing with their younger cousins. Jennifer has calculated, that she has 39 cousins in America and 6 in Germany.

So after everyone arrived we moved inside. As at all events there was plenty to eat and drink, so we had a fantastic time...

Here is me with my cousins, the good looking girl in the front is Katy, who is mommy to the littlest addition shown above with Joyce.

And here is a cute shot with Gramma...

And here is Mommy and Gramma, what a really cute group of girls....

And here is Jessica and Jennifer with out Uncle Thomas, who really did have some great story telling for the girls....

We were all able to gather on the front porch and get some really good insight into my fathers family. Thomas also kindly put togeather a very nice information package for all of us. We thank him greatly for his contribution to making the reunion a really special event.

Here is a picture of our three uncles. Wow, this is really great stuff and the fun we had with the fellows during the reunion is in keeping with the fond memories we share of this time together.

This is a shot of my cousin Bart with his lovely wife.

And yes, there was lots of great food. Here we have a picture of my Sister Alyce stuffing herself with cousin Angela and Sandra.

And now some praise for those, who made the great food possible. Here is cousin Sarah (with apron), who helped alot to make the great reunion possible. Thanks Sarah.

And here is the lady that made everything possible. Joyce, thank you so much from all of us for the time and effort you put into making our visit really special.

And so the family reunion was over and we all headed back to our seperate destinations. I had a really great time and would like again to thank everyone for taking the time to come and expecially our Aunt Joyce, for putting the whole thing togeater.

- Visit from Tim and Jenny

Here you can see our two Jennies. Jennifer Brunner und Jennifer Kerr, who is bye the way named after her.

And here is me with Josh, Tim and Jenny's son, who looks alot like his mom.

And here is Sylvia and Jenny horsing around at the "Outback". Wow, I really like their blooming onion, which could be what Jenny is trying to express?

And here is Jessica and Abby, wow are they not cute girls.

Weeellll, we didn't get a picture of Tim (I wonder how he got around that). Anyhow, we will just have to ask Jenny to send us some of him, and then we can put the in.

I hope that You have enjoyed our brief on the US and our vacation there. We had a great time and are looking forward to going back soon.

THE END
